What Tire Do You Recommend Most Often?

Each driver is different, and each vehicle is too. But it boils down to several things first what type of car are you driving (Passenger, SUV/CUV, Light Truck). We then will try to identify, with you, which of the following tire constructions is the best fit for your lifestyle (high mileage, high performance, heavy load). Consider this, tires can be broken up into many different categories, here is by tire type:

• High Performance
• Passenger
• Light Truck
• Sports Utility
• Winter
• Commercial
• Racing
• Motorcycle

Tires can be classified by quality:

• Tier 1
• Tier 2
• Tier 3
• Tier 4

Tires can be classified by Tire Type Categories:

• Passenger (performance or Touring)
• Light Truck/SUV (All-season or Traction)
• Both (winter)

Light trucks are often broken up into 4 categories:

• Highway
• All Terrain
• Traction
• Mud-terrain

For example, if you’re in a passenger car, we only have large groups of tires at that point (performance or touring). One is for high speeds and advanced handling, the other is for daily, high-quality driving.

If Quality is your main concern, then I won’t tell you about our tier 3 tires. Tires come in four tiers (tier 1-4). The lower the tier the higher the quality. Except, tier 1 & tier 2 are just about the same quality, whereas the tier 1 carries that premium price. Tier 1 tires come on brand new vehicles, as they go through a vigorous picking process. However, many vehicles will replace those original tires with tier 2 and if price is a major concern, even tier 3 budget tires.
